Our Team

Rahul K Verma,MS(Pharm), NIPER-Mohali, PhD (CDRI, Lucknow)

We use a variety of multi-disciplinary techniques to investigate intriguing questions in drug delivery and to pursue rational drug system design. My work is at the interface of Pharmaceutics, biotechnology and materials science. A major focus is the study and development of polymers to deliver drugs, peptides, proteins etc continuously at controlled rates for prolonged periods of time. In short, we focus on pharmaceutical nanoscience, nanomedicine and nanosafety.

Apart from research, I am voracious traveller and enthusiastic amateur photographer

Ankur Sharma, MS(Pharm), NIPER-Rae bareilly

He is currently woking in project entitled "Pulmonary Delivery of Antimicrobial Peptides using porous nanoparticle aggregates (PNAPs) against Pulmonary Tuberculosis" for PhD thesis. He is a trained pharmacist and has hands-on experience in designing, developing and characterization of polymeric nano- and micro-formulations.

Apart from research he is a terrific poet and gym-rat

Kalpesh Vaghasiya, MS(Pharm), NIPER-Rae bareilly

He is working in area of transdermal drug delivery systems, especially for cold injury. He is experience in development of liposomal and polymeric nano-formulations. He also has hands-on experience in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiling in rodents.

His hobbies includes reading and traveling

Eupa Ray, M.Pharm, BITS-pilani, Hyderabad

She has research interest in developing co-crystals in order to solve solubility and bioavailability issues of hydrophobic drugs. She is also working in developing enzyme sensitive smart drug delivery systems for lung delivery.
